OHMYGOODNESS I JUST DIED.
Collage by Hollie Chastain
My name is Hollie and I live in Chattanooga with my husband and two children. I seem to be addicted to the most complicated form of recycling and in Tennessee you’re never more than a few minutes from an antique store. On the best days I’m found up to my elbows in steamer trunks piled with scraps of crumbling paper, dusty, tattered books stacked to the ceiling. I bring it all back here and give it a second life. I always have the forest, fairy tales and music close to me so that comes out the most.

James Grashow’s ‘Houseplants’ appear at first glance to be delicate and beautiful flowers, but are actually intricately crafted buildings and houses evolving from carved stems and leaves.
The fuzzy little caterpillar munches holes in his leaf, climbs into his cozy chrysalis and later emerges as a beautiful butterfly who sips nectar from a flower and lays teeny-tiny eggs on the leaf of the host plant. From toymaker MuddyFeet
This is the kind of toy I will buy my future grandchildren…years and years from now
